Hey guys. 🙂 my high school had their annual winter formal dance on the 18th. 🙂 I love thrift shopping and you will not believe the price I got for the dress. :O wait for it…. 3 dollars. THREE DOLLARS. I kid you not it was knocked down that much for a broken zipper. :O It doesn’t look like it in this picture but the color of it is rose gold and beautifully laced. I don’t normally look at this color and think it’ll look good on my skin tone because usually rose gold or dull gold tone dresses flush me out. Because I had gone tanning a little it help bring out my dress.
Next is shoes. I wore a pair of Vera Wang heels I got from Kohl’s. Although, to be honest I didn’t like these shoes at first but it grew on me. 😉 These are actually super comfortable to wear. The black straps/bands that went around the front was stretchy but just hugs the foot and the material was almost velvety (not actually velvet) so it felt smooth. Perks, I was comfortable all night. (Pinky promise 😀 )
Since this was a “plainer” dress, I decided to go with a more flashy necklace. I needed it to bring out the dress and add some color which I thought this did. It’s dark blue contrasted by rose gold dress but I felt it didn’t clash with the lace. 🙂
It was a fun night and I wish I had taken pictures but I was so busy doing my friend’s hair and makeup I forgot. D: I also apologize that I have to picture of how it did my makeup or hair but if you wanted I could recreate it. 🙂 Let me know!
